It’s amazing what you can find with just a little Internet search when in town on an American road trip. Who would’ve thought that a little place like Six Ways 2 Sunday in Conyers, GA would present an opportunity for a great tournament and awesome food? Well, I thought that… that’s why I went.
Now keep in mind, the tournament at this establishment doesn’t involve money. It’s part of the World Poker Tour’s Amateur Poker League, so players are basically going for points. Luckily, those points translate into prizes in many instances.
While I do enjoy walking out with a pocket full of cash, who’s to say that I didn’t leave with more than I would’ve had the tables been cash only? There was a great grouping of people at the restaurant to play, and with five dollar burger plates, who wouldn’t love it. I’ll tell you what, though, you’ll know you’re in the south. Seriously… fried green beans? Who does that?
